Two years in the making, and many more in the dreaming, Sushi Hai is the brainchild of Steve Naples, Ken Griffin, and James Sanchez. With stunning combined experience as restaurant and small business owners (of Heidi’s Deli, Poggio’s, and Vida Salon, respectively), and as neighborhood residents, the three partners decided it was time to bring sushi to the flourishing Highland area of Denver. Amazed that it hadn’t been done before, they set about creating Sushi Hai to offer the neighborhood ambiance and food that are indulgent without being pretentious.
